Meet Anette

Since 2006, Anette Madsen has provided advice and service to Tryg’s commercial customers in her job as an insurance agent. However, it was not always evident that she would end up in this job.

"It was an important decision to change to the job as an insurance agent after having worked with administrative tasks elsewhere. But today I thrive having a varied workday such as this job consists of", she says.

Rarely two days alike

A large part of Anette’s day consists of visiting customers, and this means that she has a workday, which makes it very difficult to predict what will happen.

A day rarely goes as planned. My workday is very much a matter of having dialogues with my existing commercial customers – either on the phone or by mail. Also, I have face to face meetings, on an almost daily basis, with the largest of my customers", she says – and continues:

Motivation and success are connected

When Anette experiences a success with a customer, her motivation and job satisfaction automatically increase.

"I get my motivation 100 percent from the customers. You might say that motivation and success are connected, because when our customers have a good experience with us, the relationship is strengthened and that motivates me. And, when I am motivated to do my best for the customers, success automatically follows", she says.

A successful experience may be a customer expressing that he or she has been satisfied with the swift case-handling or that extra piece of advice, which was given.

A healthy culture in Tryg

When Anette is not visiting a customer, she enjoys the good, collegial environment whe experiences in Tryg.

"When I joined Tryg, the pleasant and relaxed feeling among the colleagues struck me. The employees are trusted and I feel that we are handed the reins to make decisions on our own. That is a healthy employee culture, which I appreciate very much", she says.
